The Australian Cypress Pine (Callitris) seems to be the new “discovery” in patio and tub plants. Callitris is a species of Evergreen plants found in Australia. They make wonderful lawn plants for warmer zones, and some have medicinal qualities.
Tree with mostly erect sometimes spreading branches which may grow to 10 m tall, mostly dark green in colour; bark tough and often deeply furrowed and aromatic wood. Good patio plant when young, hardy.
