This tree is for open areas, wider verges, batters, parks and reserves, as a shelter wind-break or erosion control. Good plant for honey production. Attracts nectar eating birds and insects for food and habitat. Also this is a mallee eucalypt growing to over 6m with multiple trunks. The lanceolate leaves are a glossy deep green sometimes with red margins.
Old bark forms a sock near the base but higher up peels away leaving a whitish smooth covering.
Buds have a short conical cap, while the fruits are cup-shaped and have large white flowers.
